Mulder: I thank the Hon Member for Scully for his question, and no I don't know why transport in Victoria is a complete dog's breakfast.
(Today's Weekly Times reports that a delegation from Maryborough to Melbourne to complain about the rail service, drove there and when asked why they didn't take the train they said they "weren't the sort of people who used public transport and anyway it wasn't convenient". I do use Vline a lot and can tell you they are correct.)
